Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what you type into the quote form so we can answer you, we keep it so it doesn't get lost, we measure traffic with Google Analytics, and we don't sell any of it.

This policy covers trailblazingcanvassers.com. It describes the information the site collects, why we collect it, and how to reach us about it. It does not cover the campaigns and organizations we work for, who handle their own voter and supporter data under their own policies.

The only information you actively give this site is what you type into the quote form: your name, your email address, your phone number, the service you're interested in, and any project details you choose to write. The form also records which page you submitted it from, so we know whether you were reading about signature gathering or field operations when you reached out.

A submission does two things: it is emailed to our inbox at [email protected], and it is saved to a database we run on Cloudflare, so that a request can't be lost if an email goes astray. We use it to answer you and to quote your project — nothing else. There is no mailing list, and submitting the form does not subscribe you to one.

Saved alongside what you typed are the time the request arrived, the page you sent it from, the IP address it came from, and whether our spam check accepted it. Only we can read that database. How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted, is under Your choices below.

Only a name plus either an email address or a phone number are required. Everything else is optional, and a short answer is fine.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and move through the site. It sets cookies and collects the usual analytics signals: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and general device and browser information.

When a quote request goes through successfully, we record a single conversion event that notes only whether the person left an email address or a phone number. No form values are ever sent to our analytics — not your name, not your message, not your contact details. That boundary is built into the site's code, not just its settings.

The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, whose servers keep standard request logs — including IP addresses — to serve pages, block abuse, and rate-limit the quote form against spam.

The quote form is also checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells a person apart from an automated script by looking at how your browser behaves. It usually resolves without you noticing; occasionally it asks you to tick a box. It is not an advertising tool and does not follow you around other sites. It does need JavaScript — if yours is switched off, the form can't be submitted, so please email or call us instead.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't share it with advertisers, and the site carries no advertising or retargeting trackers. Beyond the service providers named above — Google for analytics, Cloudflare for hosting, security, and storing quote requests, Google's Gmail for our own inbox — we don't hand your information to anyone, except where the law requires it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere. The site works fine either way.

If you'd like to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. We keep quote requests for as long as they're useful to the working relationship, and we delete them on request.

This is a business-to-business site. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
